The Potter's House Christian Church - Willetton

I have been attending this church for years, and when they re-located to Willeton my family followed. There are people from a whole lot of different cultures and backgrounds - very multicultural and accepting. Real people - not perfect but they do care. Very family orientated - teens are encouraged to be involved in music and church/community events. My son - who has ASD - has friends and is accepted here which is so important.

My friend and I went and checked out this church a few weeks ago during the evening . It had a very weird sense to it. I'm thinking we went at an earlier time than we should have because no one was really around. Kids were playing around the front door and as you continue into the foyer it kind of reminded me of what high school was like. There were groups/cliques of huddled teenagers and kids, giving us looks. And if you have a closer look around there were a few kids by themselves, my guess is being ignored or not wanted by the cliques. My message to the pastor of this so-called "church" is to work on bringing a more welcoming vibe to your church, so it dose not make visitors and guest like me feel like this. After we just left the place. If it reminds me of my high school days, does it mean there's a school bully? My rating is: 2.5, mainly because I've had quite a few bad experiences with churches, that now I'm just fed up with it.
